Fluffy Thoughts is anonymous by design. There are no accounts, profiles, ads, or cross-app tracking.
What we collect
When you release a cloud, we receive its short message and a random installation identifier. When you report a cloud, we also receive the report reason and the reported cloud’s identifier. Hosting providers may process ordinary technical logs needed to keep the service secure and available.
Why we use it
Cloud text is used to operate the shared sky and conduct personal moderation. The random identifier is used only to prevent repeat abuse, make reports idempotent, and block an anonymous source when necessary. It is not used to build a profile, advertise, or follow you across apps or websites.
What becomes public
Only cloud text personally approved by a human enters the public pool. Installation identifiers, report details, moderation records, and source hashes are never published with a cloud.
Storage and service providers
Private submissions and moderation records are stored using GitHub’s infrastructure. The web service is hosted on Vercel. Information is retained only as long as needed to operate the sky, preserve moderation decisions, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
Your choices
You can hide a cloud on your device or report and block its anonymous source. Removing the app or clearing browser storage removes local keeps, hides, blocks, and the installation identifier from that device.
